COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The TCU men's and women's cross country teams kicked off the 2021 season at the Aggie Opener. The men's squad finished third while the women's team took sixth.
Highlighting the night for TCU was Lakelin Conrad as he finished second overall with a time of 15:38.9. Coming in second for the Horned Frogs was Chris Vescovo as his time of 16:36.5 was good for 24th overall. The men finished the meet with a team total of 92 points.
On the women's side, Mariana Martinez paved the way as she finished eighth overall with a time of 14:47.1. Jasmin Muhammad-Graham finished second for the Frogs as she placed 33rd overall with her time of 15:44.0. The women finished the meet with 149 team points.
The Frogs will next travel to the UTA Gerald Richey Invitational on Sept. 11 in Arlington, Texas.
