No. 7 TCU Beach Volleyball hosts final home tournament of the season
FORT WORTH – No. 7 TCU Beach volleyball (17-4) is set to host the TCU Invitational this weekend, April 9-10. The Horned Frogs will host Boise State, Tulane, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Houston Baptist on the TCU Sand Volleyball courts. The matches this weekend are open to the public. Outdoor social distancing policies will be in effect.
The Horned Frogs are a perfect, 8-0 at home this season. They will hope to continue that run of form for senior weekend, when the team will honor its three seniors: Olivia Blackburn, Jordan Westendorff and Mega Jacobsen.

This is the fifth straight week the Frogs have been ranked in the Top-10. The Horned Frogs last played March 27-28 in Columbia, SC where they went 3-1, defeating tournament host, No. 15 South Carolina along with No. 17 Georgia State and No. 16 Stetson, extending its program record for ranked wins in a season to nine.
The Horned Frogs have been historically strong on the top three courts this season. The top three pairings, Daniela Alvarez / Tania Moreno Mateeva, Olivia Blackburn / Hailey Brockett and Rochelle Scott / Maria Gonzalez, are on track for thenbest combined record in program history, they currently stand at 49-9.
Individually, third year Horned Frog Hailey Brockett enters the weekend tied for the most ranked wins in program history at 20. She will not be able to add to that total this weekend as all four opponents did not work themselves into this week's rankings.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
TAMCC enters play with a 10-9 record after a 4-0 weekend last week. The Islanders have only seen play against five ranked teams this season, falling to each of them. TCU leads the all-time series against TAMCC, 4-1.
Tulane will play the Horned Frogs again this weekend. The Frogs took down the Green Wave at the March to May, 3-2. Tulane enters the weekend on a four-game winning streak.
Boise State heads into the weekend 4-5 with one ranked win over No. 20 Arizona State, 3-2. This will be the first-ever meeting between TCU and Boise State.
Houston Baptist comes to Fort Worth 4-16 for the season after a 3-1 weekend at the Connie and Jay Wise Islander Classic. The Horned Frogs hold the all-time series against the Huskies, 5-0.
