
Okonkwo Added to Dallas Wings Training Camp Roster

Former Horned Frog coming off a great season in the Spanish League
ARLINGTON, Texas – The Dallas Wings announced today that former TCU women's basketball player Amy Okonkwo has been added to its training camp roster.
Okonkwo, who played for TCU from 2015-19, was one of four additions (Tori Jarosz, Destinee Walker, Dee Givens) to the Wings roster on Monday. The Wings begin training camp on April 25, with the preseason set to start on April 30.
Okonkwo averaged 13.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in her three seasons with the Horned Frogs. A native of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Okonkwo helped lead TCU to 59 wins and back-to-back WNIT semifinal appearances while donning the Purple & White. She was a two-time All-Big 12 Team selection and was named the league's Sixth Player of the Year in 2018.
Okonkwo averaged 11.3 points and 5.4 rebounds for Zamarat in the Spanish League during the 2020-21 season.
