
TCU Dominates Fight in the Fort

TCU Sweeps SFA and ULM to finish the Fight in the Fort with four 5-0 sweeps
FORT WORTH -- No. 10 TCU beach volleyball (14-3) polished off the Fight in the Fort with two more 5-0 sweeps on Saturday on the TCU Sand Volleyball Courts. The Horned Frogs defeated Stephen F. Austin and Louisiana Monroe to finish a near perfect weekend with four 5-0 sweeps, only dropping one of the 21 sets played.
TCU has now won five consecutive matches via 5-0 sweeps for the first time in program history and have won 41 of their last 43 sets played. The Horned Frogs have won half of their matches this season in clean sweeps and six of their eight home matches.
QUICK HITS AGAINST SFA:
● Tara Patton and Trinity Cavanaugh scored the first point for the Horned Frogs, winning in two sets at the No. 4 position: 21-14, 21-12.
● It was the fourth time this season that the pair has scored TCU's first point since the Cavanaugh and Patton were paired up last weekend.
● Caroline White and Meghan Jacobsen put TCU in front, 2-0 with a win in three sets at the No. 5 position: 19-21, 21-15, 15-9.
● This was the duo's first appearance and first victory as a pair.
● Their three-set victory concluded the programs best set win streak at 27.
● Rochelle Scott and Maria Gonzalez secured the win for the Frogs in a two-set victory at the No. 3 position: 21-11, 21-14.

● Hayley Boll and Lauren Turner won an exhibition match, 21-11, 21-8. The win did not count toward the dual score and will not be reflected in their career records.
