
Four Frogs in Double-Digits, But Come Up Short at Iowa State

Heard leads the way with 26 points and nine assists in road defeat
AMES, Iowa – The TCU Horned Frogs battled back-and-forth on the road, but in the end came up short in a 92-81 Big 12 Conference road loss, Saturday evening in Ames, Iowa. Four different Horned Frogs notched double-digit scoring efforts, but TCU could not overcome Iowa State's Lexi Donarski, who notched a career-high 32 points on the night.
TURNING POINT
TCU and Iowa State totaled eight ties and nine lead changes though the first three quarters of play, but ISU managed to close out the game in the fourth quarter. The Cyclones led by as many as 16 points in the frame and it proved too much of a deficit for the Frogs. Both teams combined to drain 24 three-pointers overall, but it was Iowa State's 15 three's that made the difference.
