Iqbal cards a final-round 70
WEST POINT, Miss. -- The No. 12 TCU women's golf team concluded play and its fall season Tuesday with a seventh-place finish at The Ally in West Point, Miss.
The Horned Frogs were the lone non-SEC member in the 12-team field that included nine ranked programs.
TCU posted a 284.0 stroke average this fall, on pace to set a program season record.
Sabrina Iqbal, ranked seventh nationally by Golfstat, carded a final round 2-under-par 70 to finish in a tie for 11th at 2-under 214. She recorded three birdies and par on 14 holes. In four fall tournaments, Iqbal shot a combined 23-under-par with four top-11 finishes, including three in the top five. She posted a 69.6 stroke average while shooting par or better in 10 of 12 rounds.
Valeria Pacheco and Caroline Jordaan recorded final round 73s and four birdies each. Pacheco birdied two of her opening four holes and two of her final three.

TCU's spring season will begin Feb. 21 when it opens play at the Icon Invitational in Humble, Texas.
