TCU Falls to OU at Home

Trailing 17-0 in the second quarter, the Horned Frogs faced a 4th-and-2 at the Oklahoma 6. Redshirt freshman running back Daimarqua Foster took a direct snap and carried the ball into the end zone to trim the deficit to 17-7 with 9:38 to play in the first half.
TCU's 8-play, 75-yard drive began with a 47-yard completion from Max Duggan to Pro Wells, who broke a pair of tackles en route to the Oklahoma 27. It was a career-long reception for Wells and TCU's third-longest play from scrimmage this season.
The score remained 17-7 in favor of Oklahoma at the half.
With the Sooners on top 30-7, TCU made it a two-score game at 30-14 when Duggan hit Wells in the corner of the end zone on an 11-yard touchdown toss with 3:42 to play. The Sooners then recovered the ensuing pooch kick to secure the win.
Duggan completed 25-of-35 passes for 276 yards, while Taye Barber had a team-best six receptions for 70 yards.
TCU true freshman defensive end Khari Coleman made his third consecutive start and totaled a career-high eight tackles, including 3.5 for loss with a sack. It was the most tackles for loss in a game by a Horned Frog since Garret Wallow had 3.5 in last year's season opener versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Wallow had a team-best 11 tackles to reach double figures for the second straight game and 12th time in his career.
