Team Notes
* TCU scored for the 349th consecutive game. It's the nation's second-longest current streak and fourth all-time in NCAA history. The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).
* A sack by Khari Coleman on the final play of the first quarter gave the Horned Frogs at least one sack in 82 of their last 86 games.
* The Horned Frogs are 14-6 in their last 20 regular season games after an open date.
* TCU is 89-27 in home games at Amon G. Carter Stadium during Gary Patterson's 20 seasons as head coach.
* For a third straight game, TCU's team captains were Taye Barber, Max Duggan, Trevon Moehrig and Garret Wallow. Wallow has been on the field for the coin toss in all four contests this season.
* TCU wore a purple helmet, black jersey and purple pants.
Individual Notes
Offense
* Max Duggan completed 25-of-35 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions. He also had a 34-yard carry for TCU's longest rushing play of the season.
* Daimarqua Foster's 6-yard touchdown run was his first of the season and second of his career.
* Pro Wells had a career-long 47-yard reception, TCU's third-longest play from scrimmage this season.
* Wells later caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Duggan for his first scoring grab of the season and sixth of his career, the most among current Horned Frogs.
* Wells' 58 receiving yards tied a career high from last year's Baylor game.
* Taye Barber had a team-best six receptions for 70 yards, his third game this season with at least five catches.
* True freshman Zach Evans had five receptions for 56 yards. It was the most catches in a game by a TCU running back since Sewo Olonilua last year against Iowa State. Evans had a 10-yard carry on his lone rushing attempt.
* True freshman Quentin Johnston had a career-best four receptions for 40 yards.
* Offensive tackle T.J. Storment and guard John Lanz made their first career starts at TCU.
Defense
* True freshman defensive end Khari Coleman, making his third consecutive start, had a career-high eight stops, including 3.5 tackles for loss with a sack on the final play of the first quarter. He has at least one tackle for loss in three straight games.
* Coleman's 3.5 tackles for loss were the most by a Horned Frog since Garret Wallow in the 2019 season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
* Garret Wallow totaled a team-best 11 tackles for his second straight game in double figures and 12th of his career.
* Trevon Moehrig had a career-high three pass breakups to go with three tackles.
* Nook Bradford had a season-best seven tackles after recording a career-best 13 stops in last year's game against Oklahoma.
Special Teams
* Jordy Sandy placed three punts inside the 20, including one at the 7. Eleven of his 25 punts this season have gone inside the 20 with five inside the 10.
