Team Notes
* TCU improved to 2-0 on the road this season.
*Since 2009, TCU's 43 road wins are tied for second nationally.
* TCU has defeated Baylor in five of the last six seasons and is 6-3 against the Bears since beginning Big 12 play in 2012.
* TCU's Gary Patterson is 9-4 as a head coach versus Baylor.
* TCU has a 56-53-7 series lead over Baylor.
* The Horned Frogs have scored 33 points in each of their last three wins, all on the road against in-state Big 12 opponents (Texas Tech, Texas, Baylor).
* TCU had five sacks, its most in a game since totaling five in the 2018 Cheez-It Bowl victory over Cal.
* The Horned Frogs have at least one sack in 82 of their last 86 games.
* TCU recorded 11 tackles for loss, the most in a game since Nov. 4, 2017, when it had 12 against Texas. Ten Horned Frogs had at least one tackle for loss.
* The Horned Frogs ran for 247 yards and are 97-8 under Patterson when rushing for at least 200 yards.
* TCU's 30-7 lead was its largest at the half since a 38-0 advantage over Kansas last season.
* TCU's 20 points were its most in a first quarter since it posted 21 last season in a 51-14 win over Kansas.
* TCU scored for the 350th consecutive game. It's the nation's second-longest current streak and fourth all-time in NCAA history. The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).
* For a fourth straight game, TCU's team captains were Taye Barber, Max Duggan, Trevon Moehrig and Garret Wallow. Wallow has been on the field for the coin toss in all five contests this season.
* TCU wore a white helmet, white jersey and white pants.
Individual Notes
Offense
* Darwin Barlow had a career-best 117 yards on 16 carries, including a 3-yard scoring run.
* Barlow had a career-long 74-yard run, TCU's longest play from scrimmage this season and the longest by a Horned Frog since Darius Anderson had a 77-yard gain last year against SMU.
* Barlow had TCU's first 100-yard rushing game since Max Duggan ran for 115 at Kansas State last season. The last running back with a 100-yard game was Darius Anderson with 115 yards versus Kansas in 2019.
* Barlow's three rushing touchdowns this season tie Max Duggan for the team lead.
* Zach Evans rushed for 81 yards on seven carries, including his first career touchdown with a 30-yard run in the second quarter. He also had a 10-yard reception.
* Taye Barber had a team-best five receptions, his fourth game this season with at least five catches. He had a 13-yard touchdown reception for his second scoring grab of the season and fourth of his career.
* Quentin Johnston led TCU with 64 yards receiving on three receptions.
* Austin Myers made his first start of the season at right guard. His initial three starts this season were at left tackle. All four of his starts last year were at right guard.
Defense
* Dee Winters and Trevon Moehrig tied for team-high honors with eight tackles.
* Winters tied a career-high with his eight stops, including a sack. It was his first sack of the season and third of his career.
* Moehrig added two pass breakups and now has five in the last two games.
* Khari Coleman had two tackles for loss, including his second sack of the season. He has at least one tackle for loss in four straight games and a team-best 7.5 on the year.
* La'Kendrick Van Zandt had his second interception of the season and third of his career. He has taken part in three takeaways this season.
* Kee'yon Stewart recorded his first career sack.
* Terrell Cooper had his first sack of the season and third of his career. He had 1.5 tackles for loss in the game.
* Playing in his first career game, Earl Barquet had a sack.
* Defensive tackle George Ellis made his first collegiate start.
* True freshman defensive tackle Patrick Jenkins made his first appearance of the season.
Special Teams
* Derius Davis had a 67-yard punt return for a touchdown. It was his second career punt return for a score. He had a 73-yard touchdown against Southern in his collegiate debut as a true freshman in 2018.
* The two career punt returns for touchdowns by Davis are on just six attempts.
* Savion Williams had a career-long 30-yard return off the opening kickoff of the game. He later added a 28-yard return for his second-longest.
* Griffin Kell had field goals of 33 and 34 yards to make him 6-of-9 on attempts this season.
* Ben Wilson blocked a punt in the second quarter, TCU's first punt block since Garrett Kaufman against Oregon in the 2016 Alamo Bowl.
