Frogs Fall in Season Opener

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The TCU beach volleyball team opened the season at the Paradise at the Burrow by playing hard-fought matches against No. 20 FAU and UNF in Boca Raton, Fla.
The Horned Frogs got behind early in both matches but were able to rally against UNF on the top courts. Mandi Orellana and Haven Hill picked up the Frogs first win of the day on court two with a 21-17, 21-15 duel against Nicole DeBolt and Madilyn McCarty. That was quickly followed by 21-16, 21-15 win by Molly Scheel and Taylor Bradley at the No. 3 position.
The No. 1 pair of Jaelyn Greene and Victoria McDonald fought hard to force a third set, but they lost the match 21-15, 19-21, 15-7.

The Frogs will continue play at the Paradise at the Burrow by facing Webber at 7:00 a.m., CT and Florida Southern at 11:00 a.m., CT.
