Horned Frogs close out three-game home stand on Thursday

FROG FAST BREAKS
• TCU wraps up its three-game home stand to open the season hosting Nicholls State in non-conference action this Thursday, Nov. 14.
• Head coach Raegan Pebley is in her sixth season at the helm of the Horned Frog program. Pebley has compiled a record of 97-71 on the sidelines in Fort Worth, while donning an overall record of 253-246 in 17 seasons.
• TCU moved to 2-0 on the season with a 59-59 win over Cornell this past Sunday in Fort Worth. The Horned Frogs open its new campaign with two consecutive wins for the fifth straight season.
• The win over the Big Red was TCU's 19th straight home win over a non-conference opponent. The streak includes WNIT home wins and the run dates back to Dec. 1, 2017.
• TCU's last defeat to a non-conference opponent at home came to Yale back on Nov. 21, 2017.
THE GAME
• TCU (2-0) and Nicholls State (0-2) will meet up for a non-conference duel this Thursday, Nov. 14. Tip-off between the Horned Frogs and Colonels is set for 6:30 p.m. at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena.
• The game will be the third meeting overall between TCU and Nicholls State, but the first match-up between the two programs since 1997.
• Thursday's contest marks the first time TCU head coach Raegan Pebley has faced Nicholls State.
• TCU is 18-16 all-time against programs from the state of Louisiana.

SCOUTING NICHOLLS STATE
• Nicholls State is 0-2 on the young season and is coming off a 111-47 road loss to then No. 24-ranked Indiana.
• This will mark Nicholls State's third straight road game to open the season. The Colonels opened the 2019-20 campaign at Rice.
• Nicholls has three different players averaging 8.0 points or better and is led by Tykeria Williams' 9.5 points per game average. Chrystal Ezechukwu (8.5) and Adrian Mann (8.0) follow right behind.
• Ezechukwu and Mann both lead the team on the boards with 4.5 rebounds per game.
• Nicholls is averaging 47.0 points a game, while yielding 91.0 points to opposing squads through its first two games of the season.
• The Colonels shoot .257 from the field, .333 from beyond the three-point arc and .806 from the charity stripe. Nicholls' .806 free throw percentage ranks first in the Southland Conference and No. 33 in the nation.
