Team Notes
- Scored season-high 88 points. Previous high was 86 scored in game against Idaho last Saturday.
- 33 points in the third quarter were their most scored in any quarter this season. Alabama's nine points in the quarter were the second fewest allowed by TCU this season.
- Had 22 assists and 16 turnovers. The Frogs are still the only Big 12 team with more assists than turnovers in every game this season.
- Recorded 20 or more assists for the second time this season.
- Plus-13 rebound margin (38-25) was best of the season.
- Made 15-of-18 free throws for 83.3 percent. Entered game first in the Big 12 at 78.4 percent.
- Starting starting lineup of Amber Ramirez, Toree Thompson, Dakota Vann, Jayde Woods and Jordan Moore for the third straight game.
- Moved to 1-1 against Alabama. The only other meeting came on Dec. 28, 1998, in Jersey City, N.J.
- Moved to 1-1 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. The Frogs lost at LSU, 67-61, last season.
- TCU won its second straight nonconference game against a "Power Five" team (beat Arizona last Friday). TCU last won two such games in 2007-08 when it beat Oklahoma State in nonconference play and Texas Tech in the WNIT Third Round. Current Alabama head coach Kristy Curry was the head coach of that Texas Tech team.
Jordan Moore
- Scored 19 points on 9-of-11 shooting with eight rebounds.
- Double-digit scoring in five games this season, 28 times in her career.
- Missed her fourth 20-point game of the season by one point.
- Recorded two blocks and has now blocked at least one shot in 10 consecutive games, dating back to last season.
Kianna Ray
- Scored 16 points with five rebounds, made 7-of-7 free throws.
- Tied career-high in points.
- Just second game back after missing first five of season with injury.
Dakota Vann
- Scored 13 points including 4-of-4 shooting from 3-point range with three assists.
- Season-high scoring and a TCU career-high.
- First game with double-figure scoring this season
- Entered the game 3-of-17 shooting from long range on the season.
Amy Okonkwo
- Scored nine points with 10 rebounds.
- Double-digit rebounds for the second straight game, second time this season and fifth time in her career.
- Did not score in double figures for the first time this season. Was previously the only Frog to do so in every game this year.
Amber Ramirez
- Led team with five assists, fourth game of five or more this season after having two all of last season.
