FORT WORTH, Texas - GoFrogs.com takes a closer look at sophomore Malique Trent as he heads into his second year inside the men's basketball program.

Trent closed out the 2015-16 season ranking No. 1 overall in the Big 12 Conference in steals at 2.10 per game. The Virginia native was even more impressive during league play, wrapping up the season, averaging 2.47 per contest, which ranked first as well. Nationally, Trent was among the nation's best, climbing within the top-20 by the end of the year, ranking No. 19 in the NCAA.
