• The Frogs are now 4-3 all-time against Charlotte.
• Charlotte won for the first time in five tries against TCU Wednesday.
• The Frogs connected on nine triples Wednesday, which were the most since making nine last January against Boise State.
• The Frogs had 17 offensive boards, the most since grabbing 19 at UNLV a year ago.
Player Notes
• Zahna Medley became only the eighth freshman to start a season-opener under Jeff Mittie.
• Latricia Lovings tied a career-high with six blocks Wednesday.
• Kamy Cole scored 22 points, marking the third-straight year in which TCU has had a player score over 20 points in its season-opener.
• Cole became the first freshman to lead TCU in scoring in a season-opener since Ashley Davis scored 14 against Texas State in 2003-04.
