TRENTON, N.J. -- Junior guard Natasha Lacy has been granted a leave of absence from the TCU women's basketball team to deal with personal matters and will not play in the NCAA Tournament this weekend, Head Coach Jeff Mittie has announced. On the year, Lacy has averaged 14.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 29 games.
"While the timing of this is extremely unfortunate, this was a situation that required immediate attention," Mittie said.
Due to team and university policy, no further comment by any TCU representative will be made regarding the situation.
