- TCU sophomore forward Jenna Lohse reached double figures in the scoring column for the fourth time this season. Her 14 points was three shy of tying a career best.
- Lohse scored 10 of her 14 points in the second half.
- The Lady Frogs were able to knock down one three, moving their current streak to 53 games with at least one. Only two times in coach Jeff Mittie's 212 games has TCU failed to hit at least one trey.
- TCU suffered its first loss in five all-time contests with UNLV.
- TCU sophomore forward JimAnne Hejny played for the second game in a row after missing TCU's first 17. After giving birth to a baby boy in mid-December, she played nine minutes against Utah and got in for 14 versus UNLV.
- TCU's 50 points was its lowest scoring output since tallying the same figure against Michigan State on March 23, 2003, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
- After TCU trailed 45-44 with 8:57 remaining, the Rebels closed out the game on a 16-6 run.
- TCU did not record a blocked shot in a game for the first time since March 6 of last season against Louisville in the Conference USA Tournament championship.
- TCU junior forward Ashley Davis had her string of 18 consecutive free throws made snapped when she missed the first of three attempts with 1:20 remaining in the game.
- TCU senior forward Vanessa Clementino tallied 11 points for her sixth double-digit scoring performance of the year and second in a row.
- TCU sophomore guard Adrianne Ross was unable to extend her streak of games scoring in double figures to nine.
