Hello, my name is Lorie and I am a sophomore this year. I am from Inglewood, Calif., and I'm 19 years old. My mother's name is Richelle, my father is Kevin and I have two younger sisters, Talia, 13, and Najah, 10. I take pride in being the oldest because I feel I am a good role model for my younger sisters. Some say I am spoiled and that is true, my whole family spoils me with support and love...I couldn't ask for a better family (church and blood).
I started playing basketball when I was seven years old with the guys. I even played with the boys in middle school. I didn't play with girls until I was in high school.
One thing I enjoy more than basketball is music. I listen to everything except country and techno. I love Destiny's Child; they are the best group in history and nobody can tell me different. SHOUT OUT TO MY BEST FRIEND...my iPod Nano. It keeps me happy. You probably won't see me without it.
For TV, all I watch is BET, MTV and VH1. Sometimes I watch Nickelodeon (don't tell!), but mostly after watching scary movies. Scary movies are the best, so if any guys wanna take me to the movies...pick a scary one (lol).
I am a nice person if you take the time to introduce yourself. I come off intimidating to those who don't know me but I'm a cool person (I promise).
This year is going to be great! By moving to the Mountain West Conference, we'll be on the West Coast so I get to play in front of my family several times. We expect big things from the team this year. We are very talented and plan on proving that by winning the MOUTAIN WEST CONFRENCE. So, come and support us, and remember, GO FROGS!!!!!
