
Lady Frogs host EV1 in final exhibition Saturday

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU women's basketball team hosts Everyones Internet in its final exhibition of the season Saturday at 2 p.m. CST in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The contest will not be broadcast on the radio, however, live stats will be available via Gametracker on www.gofrogs.com. Admission to the game is free.TCU notched a 76-62 victory over Missouri Western in its first exhibition on Sunday. Vanessa Clementino led the Lady Frogs in scoring with 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting and a 5-for-6 effort at the charity stripe. Adrianne Ross chipped in 14 in her first game since an ACL tear against Georgia last season. Natasha Lacy came close to a triple-double with 10 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
EV1 owns a record of 7-2 this season and has won three straight. The squad is coming off an 83-52 victory against Texas State on Thursday. Keila Beachem led Everyones Internet with 19 points thanks to an 8-for-10 shooting night, and she grabbed eight rebounds. Cynthia Jordan had 15 and Latonya Johnson and Chantell Anderson each tallied 14.
Everyones Internet has also played Louisiana-Lafayette (Nov. 1, W, 82-54), LSU (Nov. 2, L, 66-84), Texas (Nov. 3, W, 68-60), Houston (Nov. 4, W, 67-50), Rice (Nov. 5, W, 79-73), SMU (Nov. 6, L, 51-64), Texas A&M (Nov. 7, W, 75-73) and Texas Tech (Nov. 8, W, 66-63).
The Lady Frogs return 11 players from their 14-person roster last season. TCU finished with a 23-10 record and made its fifth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Championship. The Purple and White also snagged its third conference tournament title in five years.
The regular season begins for the Lady Frogs on Nov. 18 when they host the Long Beach State 49ers at 7 p.m. TCU follows up with a Nov. 21 home meeting against No. 8/5-ranked Georgia at 7 p.m.
