
TCU Women Join Associated Press Top 25

FORT WORTH, Texas - With a pair of weekend victories that gave the team sole possession of the Conference USA regular-season championship, the TCU Lady Frogs have been rewarded with a top 25 ranking in the Associated Press Poll. With 61 votes, TCU moved up one notch, sliding into the 25th position on Monday.
TCU's overall record currently stands at 22-5, and the Lady Frogs went 12-2 in Conference USA play to finish as league champions. After receiving a first-round bye, TCU will open play in the C-USA Tournament on Saturday, March 2. The Frogs will play either eighth-seeded Marquette or ninth-seeded Saint Louis at 8:00 p.m. (CT) in the second round.
The Lady Frogs have won four in a row and eight of their last nine games. Earlier this season the Frogs made history by reaching the top 25 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll.
TCU currently has a national RPI rating of 24th. TCU also ranks among the top 20 nationally in scoring defense, field-goal percentage defense, rebound margin, scoring margin and winning percentage.
