2019-20 (JUNIOR SEASON): Gray embraced his leadership role on a youth-filled TCU team, taking on the roles of No. 1 singles and doubles as the only upperclassmen regular in the lineup throughout the season…He finished with 18 wins in all competitions after the season was cut short due to the COVID 19 pandemic…Gray delivered an 8-2 record in dual singles play, all at No. 1…posted a 5-2 dual record against ranked opponents and held seven ranked victories on the year, including three Top 50 victories…Gray finished the season on a six-match winning streak in singles competition, with four of those coming over ranked opponents…He finished the year ranked No. 30 in the ITA singles rankings…in doubles play, Gray posted seven victories playing mostly at the No. 1 pairing with freshman Jake Fearnley…together they notched two ranked victories, over the No. 13 ranked pair from North Carolina and the No. 18 ranked team from NC State…together Gray and Fearnley finished the 2020 season ranked No. 27.
2018-19 (SOPHOMORE SEASON): Gray continued to progress in his sophomore season, stepping up into the No. 1 doubles pairing and the No. 2 singles slot for a majority of the year…collected 40 wins across all matches (19 singles and 21 doubles)…posted an impressive .762 winning percentage in singles play during dual season…notched a victory in his collegiate No. 1 debut against UT-Arlington on Feb. 2 (6-2, 6-2)…went on to win his only other match of the year at No. 1, against SMU, finishing with a 2-0 record at No. 1 singles and a 14-5 record at No. 2…claimed eight singles victories over ranked opponents, taking down No. 27 Andres Andrade (Florida), 6-4, 6-0 on February 10th, his best win of the season…finished the year with three Top 50 wins to help him reach a season-best ranking of No. 20 in singles competition…won a thrilling three-set match in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen, 7-6(6), 3-6, 6-3 to clinch the match and advance TCU to the NCAA quarterfinals for the 10th time in program history…He qualified for the NCAA singles individual championships, where he was defeated in the opening round…Gray played a majority of his doubles action with Alex Rybakov at No. 1, while also seeing action with Reese Stadler and Eduardo Roldan…He finished the year with 21 doubles victories, including a team-leading 17 in dual competitions…collected 10 victories over ranked pairings including a pair of wins over the No. 3 ranked pairing – a 6-4 win over Texas in the regular season and a 6-3 win over Mississippi St. in the NCAA tournament round of 16…Gray notched five Top 20 victories in doubles play, all with Rybakov as they ballooned toward a season-best ranking of No. 15 by season’s end…the pairing qualified for the NCAA doubles individual championships and we defeated in the opening round.
2017-18 (FRESHMAN SEASON): Won 14 singles and 17 doubles matches … primarily played the No. 3 position in singles and the No. 2 position in doubles … mainly played doubles with Trevor Johnson posting a 10-2 record … other doubles partners included Alex Rybakov and Reese Stalder … defeated the No. 12, No. 38 and No. 102 ranked players at the ITA Grass Court Invitational in September … helped TCU defeat No. 6 Texas A&M with a 6-4 victory with Trevor Johnson in doubles … helped TCU defeat No. 32 Tulane and No. 32 Texas Tech with wins in singles and doubles in each of the contests … earned a ranking of No. 83 in doubles with Trevor Johnson … advanced to the semifinals of the Battle in the Bay Classic in doubles with Alex Rybakov … started the spring season ranked No. 23 in the singles poll and was ranked every week … finished the season ranked No 71 in the Oracle/ITA singles poll … ranked No. 28 in the doubles poll with Reese Stalder during the fall … earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Doubles Second Team … also named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.

Has competed in the junior division of three of the four major grand slams and was ranked as high as No. 52 in the ITF junior rankings ... won the singles and doubles of the Junior National Tennis Championships in Nottingham in August 2016 and made it to the quarterfinals in singles at the Nike Junior International Tournament in Roehampton in the summer of 2016 ... played on the ITF Pro Circuit and in Futures events during the Fall of 2016 ... made it to the semifinals in singles at the Aegon GB Pro-Series in Barnstaple and the finals in doubles at the Aegon GB Pro Series in Sheffield ... ranked No. 1490 in singles in the ATP rankings and No. 1377 in doubles.
