Are the 34th and 35th All-Americans in program history
FORT WORTH – Duncan Chan and Cosme Rolland De Ravel were announced as All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for the 2025-26 season.
Chan received the recognition in both disciplines. He and Rolland De Ravel shared the honor in doubles.
They are the 34th and 35th All-Americans in program history. TCU has now produced multiple All-Americans annually since 2022.
Chan becomes the eighth TCU player to receive All-American recognition in singles and doubles and fourth in the last five seasons. He is among an exclusive group of players that includes 1991 Australian Open doubles champion David Pate and six-time All-American Paul Robinson (1993-96) in addition to recent alumni such as Jake Fearnley ('24) and Lui Maxted ('25). Chan is also TCU's 17th singles All-American.
Rolland De Ravel joins Juan Carlos Aguilar ('22) as the second one-year transfer player to secure All-American accolades in TCU purple. He and Chan swell TCU's all-time doubles All-Americans to 25 players.
In what projected as a retooling year, Chan and Rolland De Ravel carried TCU to its 10th Big 12 championship, a fourth straight NCAA semifinal appearance and the No. 4 ITA year-end team ranking. Behind the duo, the Horned Frogs finished with a 25-6 overall record and closed the 2026 season by winning 16 of their final 18 matches.
No player in the country enjoyed a more transformative season than Chan. The junior primarily played the fifth and sixth positions in singles across his first two years in Fort Worth. Chan racked up 10 ranked victories in the month of September alone during the fall portion of the 2025-26 campaign, securing the No. 1 spot in both TCU lineups. He led TCU with 23 singles wins and posted a 17-7 record vs. ranked players. Chan, the Big 12 Player of the Year and first team all-conference player in both disciplines, was tabbed No. 7 in the final ITA singles rankings.
He and Rolland De Ravel were nearly perfect as a pairing. Together, the duo rattled off 18 straight victories to begin their partnership before ultimately finishing with a 22-2 overall record. Chan and Rolland De Ravel, who transferred to TCU from Old Dominion for his final collegiate season, won the Battle in the Bay Classic championship and were undefeated at 6-0 in national championship events.
Rolland De Ravel now embarks on his professional career as TCU enters the offseason. Chan is one of seven returning lettermen the Horned Frogs are set to retain in 2026-27.
