INDIANAPOLIS – For a sixth consecutive season the TCU beach volleyball team will compete for a National Championship, being selected as a 10 seed for the upcoming NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
The Horned Frogs will face seventh-seeded LMU in the first round. Last season, TCU took down the Lions to claim their first national championship.
The match against LMU will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 1, on ESPN2.
TCU enters the postseason with a 20-10 record and fell in the Big 12 Championship to Florida State. The Horned Frogs went 9-7 against ranked opponents and defeated LMU 4-1 earlier in the season.
TCU is 7-6 all-time at the NCAA Tournament, but have never been a 10 seed. TCU is 1-0 all-time against the No. 7 seed and against LMU.
