Horned Frogs look to push win streak to double digits
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The TCU women's tennis team looks to push its win streak to 10 matches as they'll take on Cincinnati on Sunday at 11 a.m. at Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center.
LAST TIME OUT
The victories continue to stack for the TCU women's tennis team, as the squad earned its ninth straight triumph with a 4-0 road win over West Virginia on Friday.
The Frogs earned wins at the top two doubles courts to secure the early advantage over the Mountaineers, then secured singles victories from Victoria Gomez O'Hayon, Yu-Chin Tsai and Letizia Corsini to sweep West Virginia.
With that result TCU has started off the season 9-1 through 10 matches. That marks the best start for the Frogs since the 2013 dual season when the Frogs started off 12-1.
On top of the nine-match win streak, TCU has secured eight sweeps throughout the process, doing so twice against Big 12 competition. The last time the Frogs were able to string together eight consecutive triumphs was the 2016 season, when TCU pulled off nine straight wins.
