Beutel and Bradley Named Big 12 Pair of the Week

Duo went 3-1 at the Big 12 Preview in their first starts together

IRVING, Texas – For the first time this season a TCU duo has earned Big 12 Pair of the Week, as the conference tabbed Elea Beutel and Kaitlyn Bradley for the award on Tuesday.

In their first starts ever together, including Bradley's first starts of the season, the pair went 3-1 at the No. 1 position at the Big 12 Preview over the weekend. All three of the wins were straight set sweeps.

To open things up, they made quick work of the No. 1 pair from No. 19 South Carolina, winning 22-20 and 21-16. In a hard-fought match against No. 11 Arizona State, they won 27-25 and 22-20 on the tiebreaks to improve to 2-0 on the weekend. During the early morning match against Boise State, they earned yet another sweep, this time by scores of 21-19 and 21-18.

This is the first time that either of them are earning the honor.

TCU is back in action next week at the Center of Effort Challenge in San Luis Obispo, California.
