TCU sweeps Boise State before dropping thriller to No. 5 Florida State
FORT WORTH – To open up the day the seventh-ranked TCU beach volleyball team took down Boise State in a sweep before falling to No. 5 Florida State on Saturday at TCU Beach Volleyball Courts.
MATCH ONE – No. 7 TCU 5, Boise State 0
In the early morning match at the Big 12 Preview, TCU made quick work of Boise State.
Opening things up for the Frogs were the four and five position, with Anhelina Khmil and Stacy Reeves joining Melina Mol and Sofia Izuzquiza with sweeps.
In the second wave of matches, Anna Long and Hannah Taylor quickly earned a sweep to clinch the match.
To close things out, Flight's 1 and 2 each earned hard fought wins to secure the sweep for the Frogs.

In the final match of the Big 12 Preview, TCU battled with Florida State once again, but fell in a 3-2 thriller.
After Florida State gained the first point at Flight 4, TCU's Melina Mol and Sofia Izuzquiza fought back to take a hard-fought, three-set victory at five to even the score.
Both teams would exchange sweeps however, with the Seminoles storming back in the second set at Flight 1 while Stacy Reeves and Anhelina Khmil cruised at three.
In the deciding match, FSU would earn a sweep at Flight 2 to clinch their second win over TCU in three tries this season.
