SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The TCU women's tennis team will once again hit the road, this time to Santa Barbara, California, for a doubleheader against UCSB and Portland on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The Frogs have rattled off four consecutive victories against Rice, UT Arlington, North Texas and Tulsa, sweeping each opponent in the process. TCU will have its toughest test in the last five matches, as the Gauchos are ranked at No. 31 in the latest ITA team rankings.
Yu-Chin Tsai has been dominant to date on the courts. The senior leads TCU in singles wins, amassing a perfect 4-0 mark while also grabbing a victory in doubles alongside Victoria Gomez O'Hayon.
TCU has pulled together a combined 14-3 singles record on the year, with eight players posting winning marks. In double play, the Frogs are 9-2 with six individuals securing a winning percentage above .500.
