Rising sophomore to compete on international stage
FORT WORTH – Standout Kamdyn Fuller of the TCU women's soccer team will travel to San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain, with the U.S. U-18 Women's National Team from Feb. 25-March 6 for two matches against Sweden and Hungary.
All 20 players on this roster were born in 2008. Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2006, are age-eligible for the 2026 FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup in Poland, but that roster will likely include mostly 2006 and 2007-born players.
Fuller is one of eight college players featured on the roster and is the lone player from the Big 12 to earn a prestigious spot on the team.
The rising sophomore continues to make a name for herself in Fort Worth with this honor. Fuller recently was tabbed the Big 12 Freshman of the Year and was selected as the No. 2 freshman by TopDrawerSoccer in their end-of-year rankings.
The Southlake, Texas, native scored four goals and tallied five assists during her freshman campaign with the Horned Frogs. Fuller's most memorable moment came in the postseason, scoring the game-tying goal with less than five seconds remaining against North Carolina in the NCAA Third Round to keep TCU's season alive in a year where the squad punched its first-ever ticket to the NCAA College Cup.
The USA will play two matches, both at the Pinatar Arena, taking on the Sweden U-18 WNT on March 3 and the Hungary U-19 WNT on March 6.
The winner of the round-robin competition will be determined on total points, with three for a win, one for a tie and zero for a loss. The tiebreakers are 1) best goal difference, 2) most goals scored, 3) best Fair Play Ranking, 4) Best FIFA ranking and then 5) drawing lots.
