Horned Frogs earn fourth straight sweep
TULSA, Okla. – The win streak continues for the TCU women's tennis team, as the squad defeated Tulsa, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon at Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
TCU (4-1) put on a show in both doubles and single, cruising to the doubles point for the fourth straight match and earning three quick singles victories to capture the sweep over the Hurricanes.
Yu-Chin Tsai was clinical once again, improving her overall season singles record to 4-0 after clinching the match for TCU. The Frogs also earned singles victories from Cristina Ramos Sierra and Jennifer Jackson, two talented newcomers who have provided a large amount of depth to the team this year.
This win marks TCU's sixth victory against Tulsa in their last eight showdowns. The Frogs earned their last triumph over the Hurricanes during the 2015 dual season. Today also marks the third time in history TCU has swept Tulsa, also doing so in 1996 and 1992.
