TCU to Recognize 1986 SWC Champions on Feb. 7

It is the 40th anniversary of their conference championship
FORT WORTH – TCU will recognize the 1985-86 Southwest Conference champions at halftime of the Horned Frogs' 1 p.m. game with Kansas State on Feb. 7.
Team members include Norman Anderson, Jamie Dixon, Greg Grissom, Carven Holcombe, Rod Jacques, Carl Lott, Matt Minnis, Tom Mortimer, Tony Papa, Randy Parker, Roger Presswood, Larry Richard, Bryan Stinchcomb and Mike Washington.
Under head coach Jim Killingsworth, the Horned Frogs went 22-9 overall and 12-4 in the SWC. Helping along the way to the title was Dixon's halfcourt shot to beat Texas at the buzzer, 55-54. Lott led the team that season with 15.8 points per game while Holcombe averaged 12.7 points.
