
TCU Triple Jump Excells at JD Martin Invitational

NORMAN, Okla. – TCU track and field wrapped up competition in the field events at the JD Martin Invitational on Thursday night with Ben Kirbo earning a third-place finish in the pole vault.
Kirbo cleared 5.30m to earn his third top-three finish of the season in the event. He highlighted the Horned Frogs' 13 competitors. On the women's side, Mamie Grace McClelland finished sixth with a mark of 3.75m in the pole vault.
Yannik Knobloch turned in a fourth place result in the long jump. His 7.21m jump was a personal best indoors.
TCU also had success in the triple jump. Three women finished in the top seven, led by Hannah Forde with a 12.18m jump. Damilare Olukosi placed sixth to lead the men with a 15.38m leap and Jamitrius Jessie recorded a career best 14.99m mark.
Senior Ryan Blake capped off the night with a fourth-place finish in the weight throw. He registered a 16.54m throw, the sixth best in school history.
