Frogs Win Three Events in Houston; Scott Breaks Mile School Record in Seattle

FORT WORTH – Three Horned Frogs earned event wins and Georgia Scott broke the school record in the mile on Saturday afternoon as TCU track and field wrapped up another successful weekend at the UW Invite and the Robert Platt Invitational.
Indya Mayberry (60m), Breanna Harlin (60m) and Gabby Martin (3000m) all recorded first place finishes down in Houston on Day Two of the Robert Platt Invitational, bringing TCU's event win total to seven on the weekend.
Up in Seattle, Scott continued her early season tear in the middle-distance races, running the fastest mile by a TCU athlete in school history with a time of 4:37.22 at the UW Invite.
The Frogs also saw strong performances from London Tucker, who advanced to the 60m dash final and placed second behind Mayberry with a 7.37, and Amari Kiluvia, who finished fourth in the 60m hurdles final after running a season best 8.33 in the semis.
Next, TCU is set to travel to the New Mexico Collegiate Classic from Feb. 6-7.
