A pair of Deputy Athletic Directors and a Senior Associate have joined Mike Buddie’s leadership team.
FORT WORTH – TCU Athletics' Executive Leadership Team has three new additions as Director of Athletics Mike Buddie has announced the hiring of Cori Bolts (Deputy Athletic Director/ Senior Woman Administrator), Alex Yack (Deputy Athletic Director/Frog Club), and Kyle Neaves (Senior Associate Athletic Director/Strategic Communications).
Bolts, Yack, and Neaves began their roles with the Horned Frogs earlier this summer.
"I am excited to welcome Cori, Alex, and Kyle to the TCU family," Buddie said. "As the collegiate athletics environment continues to evolve, we are focused on recruiting strategic thinkers who can put us at the forefront of innovation and engagement, and I believe all three fit that description. They have already begun to elevate TCU with their insights and experiences."
Bolts comes to Fort Worth from Waco where she previously served as Baylor's Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Success and Senior Woman Administrator (SWA). At TCU, she will have sport oversight of women's basketball, track and field, swim and dive, as well as the department's academic support units. Bolts joined the Baylor staff in 2018 and received multiple promotions during her time at Baylor. She also has on-campus experience at Kansas State and UCF.
Yack brings nearly 20 years of experience in athletic and academic fundraising to his role as the leader of the Frog Club. Most recently, he served as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development at Boston College, where he led strategic fundraising initiatives to advance the university's athletics mission. Prior to that, he spent 11 years at Texas Tech in senior development roles, including more than eight years with Texas Tech Athletics. Returning to Fort Worth is a homecoming for the Yack family. His wife, Jennifer, is a proud TCU alumna (Class of 2006) and the daughter of former TCU football letterwinner Alan Teichelman (Class of 1977).
Neaves joined TCU following a stint as Charlotte's Senior Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communications where he led the communications and social media efforts for the 2024-25 season. Prior to that, he spent five years at Colorado State where he served on the Rams' executive leadership team with oversight of the communications, creative content, broadcasting, and in-venue video boards teams as well as serving as the primary media contact for football and as the department spokesman. At TCU, Neaves will oversee the communications, creative content, and broadcasting units while serving as the department spokesman and primary media contact for TCU Football.
