Preview: at No. 3 Texas, vs. Florida

FORT WORTH - The No. 1 ranked TCU men's tennis team is set to play two duals this weekend.

The Horned Frogs will travel to No. 3 Texas on Friday with first serve set for 5:30 p.m.

Florida will then make its way to Fort Worth to play TCU on Sunday at 1 p.m.

This will be the first meeting between the Frogs and the Longhorns since TCU defeated its former Big 12 rival, 4-3, on May 18 in the 2204 NCAA Championship final. Texas is scheduled to return the trip to Funky Town on March 11.

The Frogs and Gators last met in on Jan. 14, 2022, in Fort Worth. TCU pulled off a 4-3 upset of a No. 1 ranked Gators team led by current ATP No. 13 Ben Shelton. It remains one of two instances in which the Horned Frogs have defeated the nation's top-ranked team, along with last season's 4-2 triumph over top-seeded Ohio State in the NCAA semifinals.
