Pascual goes 2-0 on the day.
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's tennis team defeated the West Virginia Mountaineers, 4-0, on Friday afternoon at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
LEE'S THOUGHTS
"It was great to get a dominant doubles point for the first time this season, we've won a few here and there but it was nice to build our confidence up." Head Coach Lee Walker said. "In singles, Isa was really mentally tough and handled her situation really well, winning 6-0 6-1 is impressive no matter who you're playing. She's been really focused her last two matches and I'm super proud of her for that.
Yuki continues to be dominant and Cayetana is really starting to settle in. Overall, it was a really great match for our team, from here on out the matches continue to get a little bit tougher so there's always things we can learn and ways to get better. It was a great start to Big 12 play and we want to treat every match like it's the one for the championship, because you never know what match will matter most until the very end. Our challenge for the team has been to treat every match like it's the one that decides the regular season championship, that's our plan for Sunday. We have a few players battling illness so we will manage that the best we can and we will be ready for Sunday."

The match started in doubles, where No. 24 Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual earned their third win as a pair this season in a dominant 6-1 win over Mille Haagensen and Lyla Byers on court one.
