FORT WORTH – The TCU women's tennis team blanked the Cincinnati Bearcats 4-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

LEE'S THOUGHTS
"Best doubles we've played all year. Cincinnati is a good doubles team who just won the doubles point against Baylor Friday. So I'm very happy about that point today. We are really improving there. Jade was not feeling well today but really toughed it out in doubles, so we gave her the rest in singles. And I think everyone really stepped up after that in singles. Raquel was just remarkable at one taking out a dangerous player who has a lot of experience up top. Tomi and Yuki continue being such a force for our team down low and are looking as sharp as I've seen them all year. Overall, this was a good stretch of matches for our team, and we look forward to keep building confidence as we get into the thick of our conference schedule."

THE RUNDOWN

In doubles, the Horned Frogs were dominant, winning on courts one and two. The No. 24 ITA-ranked doubles pair of Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual earned a 6-2 victory on court one, defeating Morgan Pyrz and Sakurako Watanabe. Helena Narmont and Yu-Chin Tsai clinched the doubles point for the Frogs with a 6-3 win on court two over Rozalia Gruszczynska and Gabrielle Guenther. On court three, Tomi Main and Raquel Caballero led 5-2 when the point was clinched.

In singles, Main was the first Frog to finish, putting TCU up 2-0 with her 6-0, 6-2 win on court four over Milica Popovski. Tsai extended the Frogs' lead to 3-0 with her straight-set victory on court three over Gabrielle Guenther. Caballero clinched the match for the Frogs with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Zeynep Erman.
