FORT WORTH- The TCU women's tennis team are set to play in their first conference match of the season as they host the West Virginia Mountaineers on Friday at 2:30 p.m.

The Horned Frogs are 5-3 this season and are 3-1 in their last four games. The Frogs are coming off of a 4-0 sweep of the UT Arlington Mavericks.
The match started in doubles, where Tomi Main and Raquel Caballero made quick work on court three with a 6-3 victory. Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual secured the doubles point for the Horned Frogs with a 6-4 win on court one.
In singles, the Horned Frogs continued their winning ways, when Isabel Pascual won in straight sets on court three in a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Cayetana Gay won her first ever match as a Horned Frog with a 6-3, 6-2 win on court five.
It was Yu-Chin Tsai who clinched the match for TCU with a 6-2, 7-6 (2) win on court three. This moved Tsai to five wins on the season in singles, the most on the team.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
The West Virginia Mountaineers are 6-5 this season and 4-1 in their last five games. West Virginia is looking for their first road win of the season, starting out the season 0-4 away from home.
The Frogs and Mountaineers will be facing off for the 14th time, in which TCU has never lost a match. The two schools will be facing off in Fort Worth for the first time since 2022, which resulted in a 4-2 victory for the Horned Frogs.
