TCU Earns First Ranked Sweep of the Season

The Horned Frogs split their final day in Hawai’i
HONOLULU, Hawai'i – No. 2 TCU will head back to Fort Worth 3-3 after splitting the final day of the OUTRIGGER Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic. The Horned Frogs gained their first ranked sweep of the season against tournament host No. 12 Hawai'i but fell 3-2 in a close match to No. 1 USC.
The sweep over the Rainbow Waine was the first one TCU has had over them in program history.
With the conclusion of the tournament, three Horned Frogs will return to Texas with their first ranked career wins: Kaitlyn Bradley, Sofia Izuzquiza and Stacy Reeves.

• From the No. 5 spot Sofia Izuzquiza and Stacy Reeves took the first point against Serrano/Buschmann, 21-8, 21-15.
• This marked Izuzquiza's third ranked win and Reeves's second.

No. 2 TCU travels back to the Lone Star state for the Purple and White Scrimmage on March 1. The Horned Frogs will stay at home the following weekend, March 7-8, for the TCU Invitational.
