The TCU women's tennis team looks to continue their winning ways at home as they prepare to face the No. 8 Texas Longhorns
FORT WORTH- The TCU women's tennis team takes on their third ranked team of the season as they face the No. 8 Texas Longhorns on Thursday, February 20 at 5 p.m at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

FROG FOCUS
The Horned Frogs are 3-2 coming into the match, and 2-1 in their last three games. TCU is coming off of a 6-1 victory over the Brown Bears.
The match started in doubles, where Maya Drozd and Helena Narmont won their first match as a pair when they defeated Deni Ben-Abraham and Bella Hu on court three. Tomi Main and Yu-Chin Tsai secured the doubles point for the Horned Frogs in a 6-4 victory on court two.
In singles, the Frogs continued their winning ways. Jade Otway won her first singles match of the season when she defeated Gabby Soliman 7-5, 6-4 on court one. After the Bears won on court five to bring the match to 2-1, the Frogs came back firing.
Isabel Pascual moved to 2-1 on court two this season with a 7-6 (7), 6-3 over Brown's Addison Ahlstrom. Tomi Main earned her second clinch of the year in a three-set match with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory on court five. Yu-Chin Tsai took down Ali Maguy in another three-set match with a 5-7, 7-5, 6-4 victory on court three. Maya Droz closed the match out for the Frogs with a 7-5, 6-0 victory, her first singles win as a Horned Frog.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
The Texas Longhorns are 5-3 to start the season and are playing in their second true road match of the season. Texas is coming off back-to-back losses at the ITA Team Indoor Championships to No. 2 Texas A&M and No. 7 Michigan.
The Longhorns have six players ranked nationally in singles, including four in the top 80. Texas also had five players ranked among the top newcomers, including five of the top 11 spots, with Maya Joint ranked at the number one spot.
Texas leads the all-time series against the Horned Frogs, 31-7. TCU is looking for their first win since 2015, and their first home win since 2014. This is the first matchup since 2010 where the two schools aren't in the same conference.
