No. 8 TCU opens two-game road trip vs. Cougars at 8 p.m. on Wednesday in Provo

FORT WORTH – Following an 11-day hiatus for the Christmas holiday, No. 8 TCU will play back-to-back road games in the Beehive State, beginning Wednesday at BYU.

TCU 13-0 to begin a season for the second time in three years under head coach Mark Campbell. The Horned Frogs will tie for the longest winning streak in TCU men's and women's basketball history with a victory over BYU.

Tipoff for TCU's New Year's Eve clash with the Cougars is set for 8 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

TCU is enjoying an 11-game winning streak against Big 12 opponents.
TCU is 3-1 vs. BYU since joining the Big 12 while the all-time series is tied 11-11.
TCU earned a 68-58 win over the Cougars on Feb. 21, 2024, in its most recent foray to Provo. The Horned Frogs played the game with just seven healthy scholarship players.
Since visiting BYU in February of 2024, TCU has competed to a 52-7 overall record.
The Frogs' average margin of victory over BYU in the Mark Campbell era is 18.7 points.
TCU has averaged 11 threes per game vs. BYU under Campbell. The Horned Frogs knocked down 14 - the most in a Big 12 road game in program history - in their 2024 tussle with BYU at the Marriott Center.
TCU is playing on New Year's Eve for the 12th time ever. The Horned Frogs are 7-4 when competing on the holiday, having last done so at Baylor on Dec. 31, 2022.

TCU received the No. 8 ranking in The Associated Press poll for the fourth time this season on Dec. 22 in the latest AP Top 25. The No. 8 billing is the Frogs' 27th consecutive top-20 mark and tied for the second-highest AP Top 25 ranking in program history.
The Horned Frogs have been the Big 12's highest-rated team in the AP Top 25, USA Today Sports Coaches' Poll (No. 7) and NCAA NET rankings (No. 8) for the entirety of December.
TCU is 21-9 all-time in Big 12 play as a ranked team, with 16 of the victories belonging to last season's undisputed Big 12 championship team.
TCU is the only team in the Big 12 and one of just 20 nationally with four players averaging at least 10 points and 3.5 rebounds per game; Miles, Suarez, Hunter and Clara Silva.
The Horned Frogs primary starting five of Olivia Miles, Marta Suarez, Donovyn Hunter, Maddie Scherr and Clara Silva is the fifth highest-scoring unit in college basketball at 67.9 points per game. Only South Carolina (76.6 ppg), Oklahoma (73.2 ppg), Notre Dame (71 ppg) and UCLA (68.5 ppg) have higher scoring starting lineups.
Miles (18.9 ppg) and Suarez (18.8 ppg) are the only pair of D1 teammates averaging at least 18.5 points per contest. Both players have scored 15-plus in 12-of-13 games.
Miles and Suarez have accounted for 8.4 combined win shares, more than any other pair of teammates across the D1 landscape.
Moreover, Miles, Suarez and Hunter (13.5 ppg) are the nation's fourth highest-scoring trio at 51.2 points per game. The trifecta has combined to score 50-plus in 10 of TCU's 13 wins. All three players have reached double figures in nine games.
TCU has benefitted from a 20-point performance by Miles, Suarez or Hunter eight times.
All three members of TCU's starting backcourt possess career assist-to-turnover ratios of 1.5-or-better; Hunter (2.24) Miles (2.07) and Scherr (1.61).
Scherr rank fourth and fifth, respectively, among all D1 players in assist-to-turnover ratio. Scherr sports a 4.37 season assist-to-turnover ratio while Hunter sits at 4.0.
Scherr and Hunter make TCU the only team in college basketball with two qualified players with assist-to-turnover ratios of 4-1 or better.
Miles boasts a 2.3 season assist-to-turnover ratio while ranking fifth nationally in total assists (99). Miles, Hunter and Scherr are the lone trio in the Big 12 with assist-to-turnover ratios of at least 2.0.
TCU has dished out 20-plus assists in 10 of its 13 victories.
TCU continues to lead college basketball in scoring defense (49.5 ppg) and field goal percentage defense (.297).
The Horned Frogs continue to be the only D1 outfit scoring at least 85 points per game while allowing less than 50.
TCU is one of three teams shooting it better than 48 percent from the field while holding opponents below a 33 percent clip. The others are No. 3 South Carolina and No. 5 LSU.
No opposing team has connected above a 36 percent clip from the field or from distance in any game this season vs. the Horned Frogs' defense.
In the Campbell era, TCU has held 84 percent of its opponents (69-82) under their season scoring average, including 12 straight in 2025-26.
The Horned Frogs lead Division I in total 3-pointers since 2023-24 with 799.
TCU is one of only two programs alongside Richmond ranking in the top-five nationally in 3-point field goals (1st, 799), 3-point field goals per game (4th, 9.5) and 3-point percentage (5th, .374) since 2023-24.

Olivia Miles

Is averaging career highs in points per game (18.9), assists per game (7.6) and steals per game (2.3).
Ahead of Wednesday's ballgame, is one of only four players in NCAA history to average at least 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists per game in a season. The others are Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu and Kim Rhock (Mount St. Mary's).
Leads college basketball in total win shares (4.8) and defensive win shares (1.9).
Tabbed Big 12 Player of the Week and USBWA National Player of the Week for Dec. 15-22.
Became one of only three players in NCAA D1 history to record three straight triple-doubles in TCU's wins over UTEP, Jacksonville and Arkansas-Pine Bluff from Dec. 6-16.
Tied for third in NCAA history for career triple-doubles (nine).
Needs two rebounds to become only the ninth player in NCAAW history to record 1,500 points, 700 assists and 700 rebounds.

Marta Suarez

One of only two D1 players 6-3-or-taller to post a triple-double this season and one of 75 in D1 college women's basketball history to do so.
Is the only player in college basketball averaging at least 18 points, six rebounds and two assists per game while shooting better than 50 percent from the floor and 40 percent from distance.
Ranks sixth in all of Division I in scoring average among players 6-3 or taller.
Her 34 threes are the most of any D1 player at least 6-3.
Over her last 10 games, is averaging 20 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game while connecting at a 55 percent clip from the field (77-141) and 47 percent from distance (31-66).

Donovyn Hunter

Ranks fourth in the country in assist-to-turnover ratio (4.0).
Is averaging career-highs in points per game (13.5), rebounds per game (3.5), field goal percentage (.519) and 3-point field goal percentage (.411).
Scored in double figures in each of TCU's first nine ballgames.
Since TCU's loss at Kansas State on Feb. 5, Hunter has more than doubled her scoring average. She has tallied an average 10.1 points per game across her last 27 outings compared to 5.2 points per game prior to the Frogs' visit to the Little Apple.

Maddie Scherr

Tops the Big 12 statistical rankings and is fourth nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (4.37).
Has produced a 5.8 assist-to-turnover ratio (35-6) over her last eight outings.
Has recorded at least five dimes in as many games.
For her career, has dished out 399 assists and recorded 188 steals. She will become only the 10th active D1 player with at least 400 assists and 190 steals should she drop at least one dime and swipe the ball away twice on Wednesday.

Clara Silva

Is one of eight underclassmen players in the nation averaging at least 10 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.
Averaging 13 points, seven rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game over her last five outings; has notched a double-double in two of TCU's last three wins.
Has scored in double figures in three straight games.
Became the first player in program history to finish 10-10 from the field in TCU's win over Jacksonville on Dec. 14; notched a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double in the victory.
One of only two Division I players this season to shoot 100 percent on 10-plus attempts from the field.
Has pulled down at least eight rebounds on nine occasions.

Kennedy Basham

Leads the Big 12 and ranks 14th in the country in blocks per game (2.3).
Ranks fourth and sixth, respectively, among all active D1 players in career blocks per game average (1.98) and total blocks (180).
Has finished with at least three blocks in 15 of her 20 career Big 12 games.
Tallied the third-most blocks in league play of any Big 12 player last season with 53.
