No. 8 TCU opens five-game homestead at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday vs. Cardinals

FORT WORTH – No. 8 TCU begins a five-game homestand that will carry the Horned Frogs to the Christmas holiday at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday vs. UIW.

The Frogs' extended stay at Schollmaier Arena culminates with their Big 12 opener on Dec. 20 vs. Kansas State.

TCU has won 29 straight at home – the second-longest home winning streak in all of Division I – and 39 consecutive nonleague games along Stadium Dr. when including postseason play.

The Frogs are the highest-rated Big 12 team in The Associated Press poll, USA Today Sports Coaches' Poll (No. 7) and NCAA NET rankings.
Monday's No. 8 ranking in the AP Top 25 signified the Horned Frogs' 13th top-10 ranking in the last calendar year. Of TCU's 15 all-time top-10 billings, all-but-two have come in the last two seasons.
The Horned Frogs are beating teams by an average of 42.5 points at home in nonconference play since 2024-25. Seven of their last 15 wins have been by at least 40 points. TCU's "closest" margin of victory at home in a nonleague affair over the last two seasons is 32 points.
Ten of the 36 all-time 90-point performances in TCU women's basketball history have transpired since 2024-25, seven of which have been in nonconference play.
TCU leads college basketball in field goal percentage defense (.296).
No opposing team has shot better than 36 percent from the field or from behind the arc in any game this season vs. TCU.

Combined with Donovyn Hunter (13.9 ppg), TCU is one of 15 teams with three players scoring 13.5-or-more points per game.
Hunter and Suarez are one of four teammate tandems in the country with at least 20 three-pointers to their credit. Moreover, both players are shooting it better than 40 percent from distance. Oklahoma State's Lena Girardi and Haleigh Timmer are the only other duo in the country who have knocked down 20-plus 3-pointers while maintaining 3-point percentages greater than .400.
The Horned Frogs have dished out at least 20 assists in 31 games under Campbell, tied for the ninth-most of any team nationwide since 2023.
TCU's 156 assists are the third-most of any Big 12 team.
All three members of TCU's starting backcourt possess career assist-to-turnover ratios of

Olivia Miles

Tied the NCAA record by a Power Four conference player for most consecutive games with 15 points and five assists to open a season with her eighth straight 15-and-5 game on Friday vs. UAB.
Miles is the only player in college basketball averaging at least 15 points, seven assists and six
rebounds per game.
Has finished with at least 18 points and six assists in four straight games and five times overall.
Is averaging 19.3 points per game while shooting 51 percent from the field (28-55) across TCU's last four wins.

Marta Suarez

Over her last five outings, Suarez is averaging 22.6 points, six rebounds and 2.6 assists per game while connecting at a 54 percent clip from the field (44-81) and 48 percent from distance (24-24).
Suarez is the only player in college basketball averaging at least 19 points, five rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting better than 50 percent from the floor and 40 percent from distance.
Ranks fourth in all of Division I in scoring average among players 6-3 or taller.
Suarez has finished as TCU's leading scorer in five straight games and six times overall.
Suarez has scored at least 19 points in six straight games and 7-of-8 overall.

Donovyn Hunter

Has the highest box plus-minus (17.6), which estimates the number of points a player contributes per 100 possessions, of any Big 12 player and ranks 14th nationally.
Hunter has shot 50 percent or better from the field in five of TCU's eight wins.
Hunter has made 19 straight starts for TCU dating back to Feb. 19. Since then, she has doubled her scoring average from 5.2 points to 10.4 points per game.
Is averaging 15.3 points per game at home over her last six outings at Schollmaier Arena.
Along with Suarez, Hunter is one of only eight players in the nation averaging at least 13 points and 2.5 threes per game while connecting above a 50 percent clip from the field and 40 percent from deep.

Maddie Scherr

The 5-10 graduate leads the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.7).
Scherr has posted an assist-to-turnover ratio of 7-1 over TCU's last four victories, dishing out 14 dimes against just two giveaways.
Scherr is averaging 3.7 assists per game inside Schollmaier Arena.
Scherr, along with Olivia Miles, is one of only 14 active players with at least 350 career assists and 170 steals to her name.
Scherr has 22 career 5-5-5 games to her name.

Clara Silva

Has pulled down at least eight rebounds in all-but-one game.
Ranks in the top-10 in the Big 12 in both rebounds per game (4th, 8.5) and blocks per game (6th, 1.8).

Kennedy Basham

Basham ranks second among Big 12 players and ranks 10th nationally in blocks per game (2.5).

The Horned Frogs led UIW 61-43 with 3:43 remaining in their 2023 victory over the Cardinals. UIW used a 12-0 run after the Horned Frogs' emptied their bench to make the final margin of victory appear closer.
TCU outscored UIW 46-19 in the second half of last season's 81-43 win. The Frogs scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
