No. 17 TCU faces off with Wolfpack at noon on Sunday on ESPN
FORT WORTH – TCU is set for its highest profile nonconference road game in decades on Sunday, when the 17th-ranked Horned Frogs face No. 10 NC State at James T. Valvano Arena.
Tipoff is set for noon and the game will air on ESPN.
TCU last faced a top 10 team on the road and outside of league play in 2011. Sunday's battle is only the third top 25 nonconference road game TCU has ever partaken in.
The game completes a home-and-home deal between the Horned Frogs and Wolfpack. TCU earned a 76-73 victory over then-No. 13 NC State on Nov. 17. 2024 at Schollmaier Arena.

- TCU snapped a 24-game losing streak vs. ranked teams with its 76-73 home win vs. the 13th-ranked Wolfpack on Nov. 17, 2024. The Horned Frogs went on to earn record nine ranked victories on their way to the Elite Eight.

- Miles is 15 points away from reaching 1,500 for her career.
- Miles notched her 26th career 15-5-5 game and 26th career double-double in Wednesday's win. She leads all D1 guards in both categories.
- Miles is the active D1 leader in career assists per game average (6.5) and triple doubles (six). She is also the lone D1 player with at least 25 career double-doubles and five triple-doubles.
- Miles' 680 career assists are the second-most of any player nationwide.
- Miles ranks fifth nationally in total assists (26) and assists per game (8.7).
- Miles is the only player in the Big 12 ranking in the top-10 in assists per game (2nd, 8.7) field goal percentage (6th, .606) and points per game (6th, 18.3) across the league's statistical rankings.

- Hunter scored in double figures in three-or-more consecutive games for the first time in her career to open the 2025-26 campaign.
- Scherr drained 6-6 attempts from downtown in just 22 minutes on Wednesday vs. Tennessee State. In addition to setting career-highs for first half points scored (16) and 3-pointers, Scherr became the nation's lone player to shoot 100 percent from distance on six-plus attempts.
- Scherr has drained eight of her last 12 threes ahead of Sunday's contest.
- Scherr has finished with three-plus steals on 24 occasions. She tallied 11 three-steal games as a junior at Kentucky in 2022-23.
- Scherr ranks third among all active players in career three-steal games.
- Scherr is one of only three active players alongside Rori Harmon (Texas) and Charlisse Leger-Walker (UCLA) with at least 350 career assists and 170 career steals.
- Scherr has 22 career 5-5-5 games to her name.
- Suarez finished with 17 points, a game-high 12 rebounds and four assists in leading No. 24 Cal past No. 21 NC State on Jan. 9 in Berkeley.
- Suarez is the only men's or women's player who has competed in four Power Conferences when

- Taylor Bigby was one of four Frogs to score in double figures. She put the Frogs up three with eight seconds to go on a hesi-fake finish with her left hand. Bigby put up 10 points in the win.

- TCU's 85-79 home loss to NC State in 2011 was a nip-and-tuck affair, as the game saw 14 ties and nine lead changes. Then-freshman Natalie Ventress, who ranks 10th in program history in scoring (1,430 points), netted a game-high 21 points.
- TCU Athletics Hall of Famer Helena Sverrisdottir put up a season-high 19 points in the Frogs' 76-62 defeat to the Wolfpack in 2009 in Raleigh.
