Horned Frogs hit the road for meet at Texas A&M
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – TCU track and field looks to continue its strong start to the 2025 indoor season, racing at the Ted Nelson Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 25, at the R.A. "Murray" Fasken '38 Indoor Track on the campus of Texas A&M.
The Horned Frogs are one of 13 programs competing at this weekend's meet. They are joined by Air Force, Georgia, Houston, Northern Colorado, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas State, UNLV, UT-Arlington, UTSA, Vanderbilt and the host Texas A&M.
TCU opened its indoor season with a strong showing at the Corky Classic last weekend, winning three events and watching two school records fall. Further, the Frogs set 16 top 10 marks in program history. The distance duo of Graydon Morris and Tabitha Ngao won the 3000m, 800m and mile, while Indya Mayberry and Benjamin Kirbo set the top indoor marks in TCU history in the 60m and pole vault.
Heading into the Ted Nelson Invitational, TCU boasts 10 Top 25 marks in the nation. Among those are Mayberry's NCAA-leading 60m, Kashie Crockett's fourth ranked 200m and Lloyd Frilot's seventh ranked 800m.
