
TCU Wraps Up ITA All-American Championships

FORT WORTH – The TCU women's tennis team was 6-6 on the weekend with key victories over Illinois, Miami, William & Mary, and Nebraska.
No. 12 doubles pair, Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual, started off their week with a dominant ranked win over No. 9 Megan Heuser and Alice Xu from Illinois. Otway and Pascual defeated the duo in two sets, 6-4 and 6-1.
Tomi Main defeated Miami's Raquel Gonzalez in a two-set match by a large margin; 6-3, 6-1. Raquel Caballero also grabbed a singles win against William & Mary while Otway defeated Nebraska's Ana Carmen Zamburek; 6-4, 6-3.
The Horned Frogs will have home court advantage this month with the next tournament taking place at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth. TCU hosts ITA Regional Championships from Oct. 10-14 before hosting the TCU Jae Foundation Invitational on Oct. 31-Nov. 3.
