KANSAS CITY, Mo. – TCU bowed out of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship on Saturday, falling to No. 1 seed Oklahoma, 69-53, in a quarterfinal tilt inside the T-Mobile Center.
The Horned Frogs (20-11, 6-12 Big 12) played even basketball with the Big 12 regular season champions over the final 28 minutes and was within a possession of Oklahoma at 45-42 with 1:48 remaining in the third quarter.
