FORT WORTH – The TCU women's tennis team (9-4, 5-2) are hosting the Iowa State Cyclones (2-11, 0-6) on Sunday, March 24 at 1 pm at Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

The Horned Frogs are coming off a 4-0 win over the Kansas Jayhawks on Friday, March 22. The sweep was the sixth of 2024 for the Horned Frogs and fourth against Big 12 competition. It also marked the first time since 2015 that TCU has swept four Big 12 foes. With the win, the Frogs move to 9-5 overall and 5-2 in Big 12 play.
The match began with doubles play, where the Horned Frogs stay undefeated (6-0) on the purple courts. The duo of Helena Narmont and Destinee Martins won on court three, 6-2, to give TCU their first doubles point against Mari Titova and Jasmine Adams. Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual claimed the doubles point for the Horned Frogs, winning 6-4 against Heike Janse van Vuuren and Kyoka Kubo.
Jade Otway got the singles started with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Gracie Mulville, earning her fifth court one win. Yu-Chin Tsai defeated Heike Janse van Vurren (6-3,6-4) to become 4-1 in conference play. Helena Naramont won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4 over Jasmine Adams to clinch the win for the Horned Frogs. Narmont earned her second win on court six, advancing to 2-0 on the court.
Scouting the Opposition
Iowa State is 0-6 in conference play this season with two wins over South Dakota and Missouri State during the preseason. The latest matchup the Cyclones faces was at No. 30 Baylor where they fell to the Bears 2-5.
