Frogs set to host Jayhawks Friday
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's tennis team (8-4, 4-2) are hosting the Kansas Jayhawks (5-8, 3-2) on Friday, March 22 at 3:30 pm at Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

TCU opened the season 8-4 overall and 4-2 in Big 12 play, with wins over West Virginia, Cincinnati, Houston and Kansas State. The Frogs are coming off of a 4-1 road victory against the Wildcats in Manhattan.
The Horned Frogs secured the doubles point by way of wins on courts one and two. Yu-Chin Tsai and Chiho Mushika took care of their opponent 6-2 to move to 4-1 in conference play. Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual won their fifth conference match as a pair 6-4 on court two to clinch the point.
In singles action Destinee Martins earned her third win in Big 12 play taking down Veronika Kulhava in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. No. 105 Vanesa Suarez earned the only point for the Wildcats on court one 6-2, 7-5.
Pascual put on a gutsy performance on winning on court two in straight sets 6-1, 7-5. The senior is now 4-1 in conference play and 7-5 overall this season. Tsai clinched the match for the Horned Frogs on court four taking down Manami Ukita 6-2, 6-2.
Scouting the Opposition
Kansas has won three of their last four matches, with wins over Kansas State, Iowa State and No. 35 BYU. The Jayhawks are 3-2 in conference play and 5-8 overall this season.
