Frogs set for Sunday match at noon
Fort Worth- The TCU women's tennis team is hosting the Incarnate Word Cardinals on Sunday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center at noon.

Frog Focus
TCU took on the Rice University Owls and Texas A&M Aggies in the ITA Kickoff Women's Weekend. The Frogs defeated the Owls 4-1 before falling to the Aggies 0-4.
Raquel Caballero Chica and Jade Otway started off the weekend for the Frogs with a 6-2 win on the second court. Chiho Mushika and Yu-Chin Tsai then won on court one 6-4 to earn the doubles point for TCU.
In the singles matches, Mushika won in straight sets over Chie Kezuka 6-0, 6-1 to set the tone for the Frogs. Helena Narmont then won her first match of the spring season, winning 6-2, 6-1 on court six. Jade Otway then clinched the win for the Horned Frogs in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 on court two.
On the second day of the weekend, TCU lost to Texas A&M 0-4.
Scouting the Opposition
Incarnate Word opened the season with a 1-5 record, with their win coming against St. Mary's University. The Cardinals started off the season with a loss to the University of North Florida, followed by a 4-3 win against St. Mary's University. They then hosted Trinity University and Cowley County Community College, losing both 3-4. For their first road test, they visited the Texas State Wildcats in San Marcos, losing 1-6. In their most recent match, the lost to the UTSA Roadrunners, 1-6.
TCU leads the series against Incarnate Word, 1-0, with the last match being a 4-0 win for the Frogs on January 15th, 2022.
