No. 11 TCU returns to Big 12 action on New Year's Day vs. Buffaloes
FORT WORTH – The Horned Frogs ring in the New Year with the resumption of league play opposite Big 12 newcomer Colorado at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday inside Schollmaier Arena.
TCU, No. 11 in the latest Associated Press poll, enters the midweek tilt as the highest-ranked Big 12 team for the fifth consecutive week. The Horned Frogs notched their largest margin of victory ever in their 92-52 win at UCF on Dec. 21 to kick off the conference slate.
Colorado upset No. 13 West Virginia, 65-60, in Boulder in its league-opener.
Wednesday's game will be the fifth all-time meeting between the programs and first since 2014.

- Agnes Emma-Nnopu snagged 14 rebounds for the third time on Sunday. She made her fourth straight start and has averaged 11.3 boards per game in that span, leading TCU on the glass in every game.
- Emma-Nnopu ranks fourth among all Big 12 guards 5-11-or-shorter in rebounds per game (6.6).
- Donovyn Hunter is averaging eight points per game at home. She has increased her Schollmaier Arena scoring average to 10.3 over TCU's last trio of home tilts.
- Mark the second straight season the Horned Frogs have run the table in nonconference play at home.
