Reynolds leads TCU with 15 points, including 13 made free throws
FORT WORTH – A season-best free throw and rebounding effort led TCU to an 82-48 win over Montana State Sunday afternoon at Schollmaier Arena.
The Horned Frogs (7-4) went 26-of-29 (89.7 percent) from the free throw line and outrebounded the Bobcats (5-8) by 24, 46-22.
Leading the season-best free throw effort was Noah Reynolds, who finished 13-of-14 and led the Frogs with 15 points and five assists.
TCU led by four, 23-19, with 6:56 to play before ending the half on a 19-6 scoring run. The Frogs led 42-25 at the half.
TCU kept its foot on the gas in the second half. The Frogs scored 16-straight points to lead 64-33 with 11:22 to play and their lead never dipped below 25 after that. It was TCU's 19th-straight home nonconference win.
Trazarien White scored in double figures for the fifth-straight game with 13 points, which included three 3-pointers. Vasean Allette also scored in double figures with 11 points.
Leading TCU's best rebounding effort on the season was Malick Diallo. The freshman came off the bench to bring down a season-best 10 boards to go with four points. Fellow freshman David Punch also had the most rebounds of his young career with eight to match his eight points.
The Horned Frogs will next begin Big 12 Conference play on Dec. 30 at new conference member Arizona. Tip is at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Noah Reynolds led TCU with 15 points. He was 13-of-14 from the free throw line. It was the most by a TCU player since Emanuel Miller against Nevada who also went 13-of-14 exactly one year ago on Dec. 22, 2023.
- Noah's 13 free throws also tied a career high. He also had 13 makes against Cleveland State on Jan. 14, 2024.
- Trazarien White scored his fifth-straight game in double figures with 13 points.
- White was 3-of-8 from 3-point range with all three made in the first half. It was his fifth-straight game with a made three.
- Vasean Allette finished with 11 points, the most he's scored in nine games.
- David Punch brought down a season-best eight rebounds to go with eight points.
- Malick Diallo brought down a team-best and season-high 10 rebounds.
- Micah Robinson was 1-of-3 from 3-point range. It was his fifth-straight game with a made 3-pointer.
- Ernest Udeh Jr. had a career-high four steals.
- Cole Despie and Drew McElroy made the most of their minute of action at the end of the game. Both made a 3-pointer, the first of McElroy's career and the second for Despie.
