Match is slated to begin at 8 a.m.
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's rifle team will hit the road for a third straight meeting with Ohio State. The match is slated to get underway at 8 a.m. on Sunday. TCU currently boasts the second highest NCAA team average at 4,741.
The Horned Frogs will be without two counters this weekend as Katie Zaun and Jeanne Haverhill will be taking part in the Meyton Cup in Austria as well as the H&N Cup in Germany.
TCU sits second nationally in aggregate average at 4,735.56. The Frogs lead the NCAA in air rifle average (2,384.78) and sit second in smallbore (2,350.78).
Stephanie Grundsoee has been one of the top shooters in the country, ranking in the top five in both disciplines. She is second in air rifle average at 597.50 and fourth in smallbore at 590.67.
Stephanie Allan has served as a smallbore counter in eight of nine match and a counter in air rifle in all nine matches. She is the only shooter in the NCAA to fire a 600 in air rifle this season and sits 11th in air rifle average at 595.44.
Mikole Hogan has seen action as a counter in eight of nine matches this year. She is sixth on the team with an aggregate average of 1,175.78.
Anne White returned to the lineup this past weekend after an injury cut her fall season short. She sits fifth on the squad with an aggregate average of 1,176.
Nina Schuett has also served as a counter over the course of her career. She sits seventh on the squad in aggregate average at 1,173.
Making their first road trip of the season will be Annie Downum, Kaylynn Slaughter and Gianna Yokoe.
